What a time it was . . .
Thanks goes to Frank, Lesley and Bobby. As these chaps came forth with happy memories of working at Hinks' Appledore boatyard and working on the NonSuch and Golden Hind. They had nothing but smiles on their faces as they each shared memories of all the fun they had putting in a full days hard shift at the yard and playing football in their lunch breaks as well.
If anyone is interested in discussing upcoming events and placing ads in Tidal please email us on hello@maidinappledore.co.uk. . . Thanks, as ever, for all of your support!
We're following the shipwright Chris Frisby and his volunteers at Jane Hannah MacDonald III - the lil' boat of Appledore RNLI and Dunkirk. What an amazing illustration of the boat by Michael Lees and amazing book by Annemarie Munro (check them out!).
